Our mission

to make doing good easier, more joyful, and more frequent. one more mitzvah at a time.

Mitzvah House is a grassroots organization, built on love of community and people who want to do good. We are not synagogue-based. We are completely mitzvah-based.

One good deed can change the world.

The idea behind Mitzvah House

one mitzvah leads to another.

“A soul may come down to this world for 70 or 80 years, just to do one favor for another.”

We were bringing meals to a family whose mom was facing a medical crisis. While we looked for the address, a driver saw the Mitzvah Bus and pulled up, curious.

That chat led Jeffrey to put up a mezuzah and wrap tefillin. A few weeks later, at our Shavuot celebration, he was called to the Torah for his first aliyah in more than fifty years.

That’s Mitzvah House: one good deed leads to the next.

The Goldberg family
Who we are

meet the Goldbergs.

We’re Zalmy and Chaya Goldberg, and our family is the team behind Mitzvah House. We both grew up in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, with one shared dream: to make the world a better place.

After bringing light to more than a dozen countries, we made Dunwoody our home. Inspired by the Rebbe, we make it easy for everyone, from every background, to do one more mitzvah.

Come say hi.We’d love to meet you for coffee, or at our Shabbat table.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson
Our inspiration

inspired by the Rebbe.

The Lubavitcher Rebbe changed how we think about one mitzvah. Each act of goodness adds immeasurable light. When we bring all those sparks together, we outshine the darkness.

You can make a difference. Do one more good deed.
