Power isn’t about crushing others. It’s about living with such integrity and light that nothing can shake it*
Our fight isn’t to raise a sword against darkness or to catalog every shade of it. Our job is simpler, and sometimes harder. To add more light.
Every act of kindness, every mitzvah pushes the world closer to the time when knowledge of G-d, of goodness will fill every corner, until the shadows cease to exist.
*Message from this week's Torah Portion Ki Tavo

The Kingsley clubhouse was buzzing this week with the best kind of noise, dozens of you choosing light. Everyone chopping veggies, braiding challah, and filling up Mitzvah Kitchen boxes. Forty-five people got meals that weren’t just homemade, they were made with love (the secret ingredient that makes them so good.)
Like Karen said so well “There are a lot of things to do on a Sunday afternoon, yet 75+ people chose to spend it helping individuals they will never meet. How powerful is that? Groups of high school girls came together to volunteer, parents with young children, single people, etc. One of the most beautiful things I saw was grandparents that were volunteering with their children and their grandchildren.”
Because the greatest act of rebellion in the face of darkness isn’t a fight with a sword. It’s living more fully. More joyfully. More Jewishly.
Now, in the month of Elul, G-d is especially close. He’s listening, to our hopes, our dreams, our longings. It’s the perfect season to open your heart, invite Him in, to add more moments of light.
