Yesterday was nothing short of a revealed miracle. The aprons came out the wrong color, we needed a new space, the lights and power wouldn't work, and so many helping hands fell sick—but the night was more than just beautiful, it was powerful.

For me, yesterday was about letting go—trusting that whoever needed to be there would be, and that all the time and energy poured into this would be meaningful to those who needed it most. The mitzvos each of you took on inspired me deeply. And in the end, the aprons were exactly the right color.

After 510 days, it would be normal to feel war fatigue or dissociation. But I didn't see that, I saw you united in a mission to do good. We honored those we lost – especially the Bibas children- and those we shockingly are still awaiting their return with more than just the color orange woven into every part of our evening. We invited each of you to take on another mitzvah, and your enthusiasm was incredible.* Now, take it one step further—celebrate the full 25 hours of Shabbat** just once in the next three weeks, and you’ll be entered to win two nights at this luxury 5-star resort in Cancun.*** Do it for those who can’t celebrate right now—and as a bonus, you'll be in the raffle too—while adding a little more light into the world.

The holiest part of the Mishkan held both whole and shattered tablets—because both wholeness and brokenness matter. Healing isn’t leaving broken pieces behind; it's carrying them and inviting Gd in.

He asks for a home in our lowest, messiest places—the very ones we deem too shattered or unworthy. That’s where He waits to meet us. Message from this week's Torah portion Terumah.

Shabbat Shalom,

Chaya Goldberg

**Keeping Shabbos for this raffle means welcoming Shabbat through lighting candles before sunset Friday and refraining from electronics and fire for the next 25 hours, until Saturday sundown.
