You know those weeks where you're just going through it?
You show up, do what you got to do but somewhere between the exhaustion and the noise you may think "does this matter? This week looks a lot like last week and the one before that. And looks just like my neighbors!"
When the twelve princes brought their offerings to the newly built temple in the desert, every single one was identical. The Torah could have said it once. It didn't. It wrote out every word about their gifts in detail, twelve times . Using precious Torah real estate where every single letter is chosen with intention.
Because even though the gift looked the same, what each prince brought to it was theirs alone. A specific piece of the world only they could lift.
That's true for every one of us, in every action, every single day. Even the repetitive ones.
In a world of influencers and podcasts and a million voices it can feel like all the spots are taken. But the second you stand up and shine, the room lights up in a way it couldn't have without you.

When we started Mitzvah House we were just two people showing up where we saw a need. Getting nominated and then chosen for an award this Thursday from the Federation honestly feels like a big warm hug from all of you, and a very big push to keep going. Onward and upward!
We are so proud to represent this community. And we can't wait to keep shining light together.
